Tabletop - Royal Limoges

Leather Seating Charts

Item number: SCBR01

The plan de table was first developed for use at royal court as a way to insure that guests were arranged properly in terms of their ranking and protocol. They are still used today in diplomatic corps, and wherever there is a need to put the right people together for a perfect dinner party. Each guest's name is handwritten on a card that is then inserted in its proper place on the chart, allowing you to determine the perfect seating arrangment, while saving you multiple trips around your table. Once you've "seated" everyone on the chart, you can mimic the arrangement on your dining table with actual place cards, or set the plan de table in the front hall were guests can view where they will be seated and with whom. This is the perfect gift for anyone who loves to entertain.

Hand tooled kid leather made exclusively for Timothy Corrigan in Florence, Italy, each chart is accented with gold borders and backed in coordinating silk. Available in four smart color combinations. Dimensions: 17" L  x 9" W.
